Barry Ord Clarke is an inventive fly tier who lives in Norway. From his Web site:

"Born and brought up in Lancashire England, at fifteen, Barry began full time education at the Burnley College of Art and Technology. During his fine art course, he was encouraged to use photography as an artistic expression. After successfully completing his three years, Barry began to work as assistant to the successful music photographer Andy Earl. In 1984 after five years as Andy’s assistant, Barry branched out on his own into the world of advertising and music. Barry has several portraits in the National portrait gallery collection in London, including Mick Jagger, Jools Holland and Brian Clarke. In 1994 Barry made a huge career change and moved to Norway, where he could pursue his lifelong passion for game fishing and the great outdoors. A career within international game fishing and outdoor photography followed with over 60 magazine covers, and assignments in 35 different countries around the world. He has co-authored and contributed to over 25 books on game fishing. His work is diverse, often incorporating dramatic macro elements to create an abstract or surrealistic effect."
